Draftsman Job Responsibilities

• Create precise construction drawings for pools, splash pads, piping systems, and mechanical rooms using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate and maintain BIM models, ensuring accuracy and seamless integration across all disciplines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to develop submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Organize and maintain all project drawing files, model updates, and related documentation throughout all phases.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts by working closely with designers, engineers, and contractors.
• Incorporate design revisions and technical updates as required to meet project specifications.
  
  

Draftsman Job Requirements

• 2–5 years of drafting, design, or BIM coordination experience (preferably in construction, MEP, or related industries).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, standards, and plan interpretation.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Drafting, Architecture, or Engineering Technology (preferred).
