Wine Steward Responsibilities

• Oversee and run wine inventory program of a high-volume restaurant
• Organize wholesale vendor trainings for FOH staff members
• Maintain inventory levels on budget
• Assist with wine sales on the floor, as needed
• Leadership mentality during service
  
  

Wine Steward Requirements

• 2 years of wine inventory and product management in a full-service dining environment or winery tasting room. The ideal candidate has experience with a sales volume of 5M or higher
• Understanding of inventory systems, reporting, and reconciliation
• Collaborate with vendors and management to ensure all events are stocked
• Coordinate staff trainings with wholesalers and local wineries
