Position Description Summary/Purpose:
This position performs routine cleaning of interior areas of all University buildings. We are hiring for a Full-Time Custodian and have the following open position:
Riverside Magnet School:
- Full-Time Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

- Cleans, dusts, disinfects, vacuums, sweeps, mops as appropriate all interior areas of School buildings including offices, classrooms, conference rooms and learning centers, restrooms, cafeteria, computer rooms, laboratories, libraries, lounge areas, furniture, closets and windows.
- Tasks performed are standardized.
- Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety practices are followed.
Other Functions:
- Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates.
- Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends.
- Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.

- Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures; knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment used in cleaning activities
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education, Training and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED with 1 to 2 weeks training
- Passing of pre-employment screening
