Project Manager / Project Architect - Commercial
Goree Architects, Inc. (GAI) is seeking qualified candidates for the Project Manager / Project Architect position with strong Revit and commercial architecture experience. Candidate will work with upper management and production staff throughout the life cycle of a project while serving as the primary point of contact for each project. Commercial department currently handles all projects related to industrial, office, retail, and specialty projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee project coordination and communication between all related parties
- Incorporate client's programming into plans
- Oversee production of construction documents and delegate production as needed to supporting staff
- Compile project specifications and project schedule
- Ensure code compliance and work with in-house QAQC team
- Coordinate with permitting authorities in a timely manner
- Oversee construction administration responsibilities and attend meetings
- Mentor and develop project associates assisting with production
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and fees
Qualifications:
- Must have an Architectural degree from an accredited school
- 7 years of commercial experience, minimum
- Must be proficient in Revit Architecture
- (optional) current State of Texas architectural license
- Strong organizational ability
- Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to work well under pressure and manage time appropriately related to tight deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with client, consultant, and upper management interaction
- Self motivated
