Position Overview
The Associate Director, Technical Delivery & Operations is a senior leadership role accountable for end-to-end delivery execution, release governance, and production stability across enterprise integration and data platforms supporting core business operations. This role partners closely with business-facing technology teams to enhance the performance of critical functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing through scalable integrations, data solutions, and intelligent automation.
Reporting to a senior technology leader, this position serves as a critical link between business demand and technology execution. The role blends delivery accountability with hands-on technical leadership, stepping in as needed to guide complex integrations, unblock delivery challenges, and resolve high-impact production issues. The successful candidate will help establish a disciplined delivery and operations model, moving the organization from reactive support to predictable execution, proactive operations, and high system reliability within a mission-critical enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Execution & Operational Accountability
- Own delivery outcomes and production stability across enterprise integration and data platforms.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality releases with smooth transitions from development to operations.
- Reduce production incidents, delivery risk, and manual operational effort.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and support teams to drive effective incident response and escalation.
Integration Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Define, track, and improve operational KPIs including availability, failure rates, MTTR, and deployment success.
- Lead root-cause analysis efforts and ensure lasting remediation of recurring issues.
- Strengthen platform resilience through improved monitoring, alerting, error handling, and recovery practices.
- Standardize and automate delivery and operational processes across platforms.
Resource Management, Prioritization & Release Governance
- Manage intake, prioritization, and sequencing of work based on business urgency, risk, and team capacity.
- Balance new development with production support and technical debt reduction.
- Lead release planning, change management, and go/no-go decision-making.
- Govern CI/CD pipelines, deployment standards, and environment promotion practices.
Technical Leadership & Architecture Oversight
- Provide hands-on leadership for complex, high-risk, or business-critical integrations.
- Review and validate integration and data designs with a strong focus on operability and supportability.
- Support critical troubleshooting efforts and targeted architecture initiatives as required.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Act as the primary delivery and operations leader for enterprise integration platforms.
- Communicate delivery status, operational health, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Coach internal teams and external partners on execution discipline, accountability, and operational excellence.
Technical Expertise (Priority Order)
- Enterprise integration platforms supporting ERP ecosystems
- API design and enterprise integration patterns (REST, event-driven architectures)

Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in integration, data, or enterprise application delivery roles
- Proven leadership in delivery execution, release management, and production operations
- Hands-on experience supporting large-scale ERP integrations and cloud data platforms
- Demonstrated success operating and supporting production-grade integration and data environments
