SUMMARY
Responsible for the accountability of our inventory through proper reporting, cycle counting, date checks, shortage report research, handling drivers returns, quality control issues, and conducting physical inventories.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory.
- Maintain physical inventory quantities and validate against perpetual.
- Assist in taking quarterly physical inventories.
- Conduct Primary/Overstock slot verification.
- Validate customer returns against return sheets, Pickups and invoices.
- Conduct date list checks daily.
- Ability to learn/comprehend two computer systems (Power Warehouse/Power Enterprise system) and keep in sync.
- Prepare and coordinate vendor returns.
- Work closely with internal departments within the company.
- Verify dates and product quality are highest quality standard.
- Perform special projects as needed.
- Maintain the safety, quality, and legality of food products.
WORK SKILLS: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS: Previous Inventory Control/Cycle Count experience a plus.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and able to work in cold environment (minus 5 45 degrees) for an extended period of time. Capable of being on your feet for lengthy periods of time
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Warehouse environment
