What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Success Coordinator position at GovX, Inc.?

We have successfully added 1000 partners to the site and continue to invest in the growth of our most important asset, our catalog.

The Partner Success Coordinator is key in ensuring we optimize our current partners and ensuring their growth and success on our platform. The goal of the Partner Success Coordinator is to increase the orders and value per partner. This will be done by ensuring that all orders are fulfilled, partners are scaled by increasing offerings and cleaning up logistics to make sure partners can scale without impacting the workload of cross functional teams.


Roles and Responsibilities

Partner Optimization and Scale

  • Understand the GOVX Integration methods to ensure the flow of information and automation of any manual processes impacting a brand's receipt of orders and the customers receipt of order updates, tracking and order delivery.
    • Triage and troubleshoot existing integrations to correct on the partner side or escalate to the Integration Manager.
    • Monitor reports to proactively find integration errors prior to hurting the customer experience.
    • Support internal teams and partners on high level understanding of the different dropship integration methods.
    • Work with existing partners to move to an automated integration such as EDI.
    • Run manual inventory and tracking files until partner is live with automated integration.
    • Partner with B2B marketing to ensure all necessary documentation is available in the GOVX Help Center.

Order Fulfillment and Revenue Recognition

  • Troubleshoot and investigate any accounting issues:
    • Review any pricing discrepancies causing brands to delay order acceptance and fulfilment to understand the root cause of any issues.
    • Implement the required changes to ensure problems do not persist and we cut down on future corrections with the partner and accounting.
    • Communicate and confirm all changes with the partners to make sure they accept changes and make any required fixes on their end.
  • Get ahead of accounting issues by staying on top of pricing and assortment:
    • Send monthly reminders to partners that adjust their wholesale cost for promotions.
    • Send quarterly requests to partners to share their most recent product assortment and pricing updates.
  • Reporting for affiliate partners
    • Gather required monthly performance reporting to bill direct affiliates.

Ongoing Partner Communication and Management

  • Maintain updated partner contacts in CRM.
  • Partner with Category Managers on any trends or optimization efforts that will drive increased performance from direct affiliate partners.
  • Leverage Affiliate Platforms to find new opportunities for Account Executives based on what brands are already playing in affiliate fees through know affiliate Platforms.
  • Communicate with partners via phone, video call and email to provide tips for optimization and follow through to ensure recommendations are implemented.
  • Track communication with partners in CRM to follow up when necessary.

Support New Partner Onboarding

  • Support onboarding new dropship and direct affiliate partners with the goal to get them live faster after contract signed.
  • Establish timelines for partners and internal staff and hold all parties accountable.
  • Collaborate with new and existing partners to establish the most optimal integration method.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Vendor Management, Category Management, Logistics, Finance and Catalog Operations to ensure partners launch in a successful and timely manner.
  • Partner with Account Executives as a resource to walk potential new partners through logistics, integrations, and other technical processes to ensure the partner understands options and is eager to move forward.
  • Effectively and quickly solve ad hoc partner issues, requests, and questions throughout the onboarding process.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • 2 Years’ experience in an office environment performing project-based work.
  • 1 Years’ experience in ecommerce or retail.
  • Passionate and mission driven.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to switch between projects without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior analytical and math skills.
  • Comfortable on the phone and negotiating with brands over the phone on pricing and optimization strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Solution and results oriented.


Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Travel Requirements
No travel is expected for this position.


Work Location
This is a hybrid position that combines working onsite at the GOVX corporate office in San Diego, CA and working remotely from home. You will be required to report to the office a minimum of three days per week. Due to training and team collaboration requirements of this position, the candidate must live and work in San Diego, CA. No relocation allowance or visa sponsorship will be provided.

Pay Range
$24.04 - $28.85 per hour
