Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
- Organizing and responding to discovery
- Analyzing financial information and preparing marital balance sheets
- Running child support and spousal support calculations
- Conducting legal research (e.g., using Lexis)
- Representing clients in state courts before judicial officers
- Prior experience in family law
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and technological proficiency
- A genuine interest in practicing family law (those who are averse should not apply)
