Experienced Family Law Attorney

A well-established Columbus law firm is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of legal experience to join its Family Law Practice Group. The attorney will collaborate with a team of experienced partners, handling a broad range of family law matters.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
• Organizing and responding to discovery
• Analyzing financial information and preparing marital balance sheets
• Running child support and spousal support calculations
• Conducting legal research (e.g., using Lexis)
• Representing clients in state courts before judicial officers
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in family law
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and technological proficiency
• A genuine interest in practicing family law (those who are averse should not apply)
