What are the responsibilities and job description for the PBX Operator/Central Scheduler position at GPCH, LLC?
Golden Plains Community Hospital is seeking a Full time PBX Operator/Scheduler. Days are Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm (hours are subject to change).
Position Summary: Answers all incoming calls, schedules all patients’ appointments and transfers calls to appropriate department. Supplies information to callers and keeps a record of calls placed. May perform clerical duties and receive payments.

Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- A basic working knowledge of medical terms preferred.
- Optimum degree of responsibility for confidentiality matters.
- Computer skills required.
- Willingness and ability to assume additional responsibilities.
- Schedule appointments.
- Answers multiple phone lines, takes messages and communicates messages to the appropriate person.
- Confirms patient appointments.
- Upload documents and file accordingly
- Ability to assume additional responsibilities
