Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Facilitator, located on-site in Chicago, IL. In this position, the Facilitator will lead and support engaging workshops, seminars, and discussions for students attending the program. Key responsibilities include guiding students in leadership development and cross-cultural activities, coordinating program schedules, and maintaining a supportive learning environment. The Facilitator will also assist with feedback and ensure that participants have meaningful and enriching educational experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse groups of students and staff
- Experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or facilitating workshops, especially in leadership or cross-cultural environments
- Awareness of global education trends and a demonstrated ability to foster cross-cultural understanding
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing program schedules in an efficient manner
- Proficiency in English; Japanese language skills are a plus
- Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Available to work on-site in Chicago, IL, on a flexible part-time schedule
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, or a related field is preferred
