Delivery Driver

**Job Summary

**

Exciting opportunity with Major Semiconductor Equipment and Contract Manufacturer based in NJ. The primary responsibility of the Driver is to safely handle all pickup and deliver logistics for the company. Drivers are also often expected to help with the loading and unloading of their products, keep logs of their activities and make sure their vehicles are maintained in good working order.

**Responsibilities and Duties

**

• Delivery driver is responsible for the paperwork concerning all deliveries and pickups made.

• Check company vehicle brakes, controls, fuel content, etc. daily before starting out.

• Must be punctual and stringent about timing and make no delays in deliveries.

• Delivery drivers must be prepared to work in any traffic, weather and timing according to their employer’s business needs.

• Will generally assist in loading and unloading goods onto/off the company’s vehicle.

• When not making deliveries or pickups must be prepared to work in and around the machine shop area, as directed.

**Qualifications and Skills

**

• Good driving record with no traffic violations.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Must be friendly and courteous towards the company’s customers and suppliers.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

• Clean

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Must be flexible with all trips in the local area and out of state.

Experience:

• Delivery driver: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required)

• Driver's License
• Current CDL License
