What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Hire RNs – CVICU, ED, L&D position at GQR?
We’re working with a well-respected hospital in Tyler, TX that’s hiring full-time staff RNs for their CVICU, ER, and L&D units. These are permanent, direct-hire roles with strong leadership, great culture, and a real focus on cross-training and internal growth.
Available Units:
CVICU:
- New heart hospital with advanced cardiac care
- 1:1–1:2 ratios
- Will consider TELE or ICU experience as well as cardiac Med/Surg
- Strong opportunity for nurses who want to move into cardiac critical care
Emergency Room:
- 56-bed ED seeing 200–300 patients a day
- 4:1 ratios
- Will consider med/surg experience – this team actively cross-trains
- $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced ED RNs
Labor & Delivery:
- L&D-only unit (not antepartum or postpartum)
- ~10–15 deliveries a day
- Very team-oriented, warm culture
- Must have at least 6 months of recent L&D experience
Pay Differentials:
- $28.30 – $46.40/hr (based on experience)
- Stacked shift diffs:
- $4.50/hr nights
- $3.50/hr evenings
- $2.50/hr weekends
