$19.60 an hour (with experience)
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 7:15 am- 3:45 pm
Grace Health is searching for Certified Medical Assistants to join our Student Health Center at Battle Creek Central High School and Lakeview High School! You will have the opportunity to interact with the students and build a trustworthy atmosphere. Additionally, we offer competitive wages based on experience and up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! Weekend and holidays off! Sign-on bonus ($500 upon hire and $500 after 6 months).

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list is not all inclusive.)
- Obtains accurate patient data
- Documents in the medical record
- Prepares exam rooms and procedure rooms
- Assists provider during exams and procedures
- Administers medications, per written order
- Provides educational materials to patient/family
- Provides explanation of lab results, diagnostic testing results and provider orders to patient/family
- Assists with cleaning and stocking of exam rooms and suites
- Performs CLIA waived testing
- General office duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
-Seasonal Flu vaccine
- High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- One year of work experience in a medical office setting and/or certification as a medical assistant required
- Current BCLS certification and experience in pediatric primary care preferred
