POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Medical/Surgical is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the Medical/Surgical Care Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role oversees all clinical and administrative functions, including staffing, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. The Director collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, optimize workflows, and maintain adherence to hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
PRIMARY (ESSENTIAL) DUTIES
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required
Progressive leadership experience.
Current RN licensure (NC/Multistate)
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
