Position Details:
As an Operations Analyst, you will lead and work cross-functionally to support end-to-end execution and improvement of daily supplier interactions and Support additional important activities with Grainger's strategic supplier initiatives. You will provide subject matter expertise for developing best-in-class processes to enable industry-leading procurement. You will function as a thought leader for Indirect Procurement team; utilizing your continuous-improvement mindset to help define standards and processes. You will report to the Manager of Procurement Operations.
You Will:- Continuously improve global procurement operational processes to maximize effectiveness and ensure improvements are customer-focused and aligned with our strategic direction and goals
- Provide guidance on, and ensure standard procurement operational best practices, processes and procedures are followed
- Analyze data to identify outliers and trends to identify opportunities and action plans
- Help ensure connectivity and accountability of partners by maintaining communication channels
- Assist in the measurement of the effectiveness of assigned business processes through value added reporting and metrics
- Resolve procurement transaction issues
- Bachelor's degree requiredor extensive experience in operations
- 1 years of experience in Supplier Management, Operations Management, Logistics Management or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications functionality (e.g. Excel [including pivot tables, slicers, report development], Word, PowerBI Access dB, PowerPoint)
