Residential Maintenance Technician

Here at Granbury Heights Apartments, we are searching for a skilled Maintenance Technician who will perform upkeep, repairs, painting, and cleaning for the property. You will be expected to do repairs on equipment, exterior of buildings and interior of apartments. At Granbury Heights Apartments keeping up curb appeal and positive impacts to the property are very important. We are looking for someone who is experienced and willing to work to better our community, who has a keen eye for detail, and possesses manual strength and endurance, someone who is willing and able to walk up and down stairs multiple times a month. We are also looking for someone who will report to and work well with the onsite Manager.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

· All maintenance repairs, inside and outside of apartments, as well as grounds, laundry room and office

· Picking up trash and general cleaning

· Work orders

· Painting

· Inspect and troubleshoot minor Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC

· Delivering notices to all apartments, several times a month

· Monthly inspections of each apartment, with Property Manager

· Upkeep on the grounds, including cleaning up and watering

· Replacing locks

· Inspect, troubleshoot, and install appliances and fire alarms

· Report to property Manager

Requirements/Skills of Maintenance Technician:

· Basic knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems

· Experience with electrical tools, hand tools, and gardening equipment

· Communication and interpersonal skills with Manager, company, and tenants

· Manual strength and endurance, there will be heavy lifting

· Pride in a job well done

· Strong time management skills

· An eye for detail and the ability to stay focused while working independently

· Reliable transportation, a truck is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

• Granbury, TX 76048: Relocate before starting work (Required)
