Grand Ave Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located in Pflugerville that plans to grow and succeed with the help of a dedicated and hard-working pharmacy team. We are seeking friendly and motivated individuals that can be accountable for this pharmacy’s growth and hold a long-term position.
Daily Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and role model service standards
- Standard mathematical and computer skills on PioneerRx software
- Effective communication with patients, doctor’s offices, and insurance companies
- Inventory management – placing orders, checking stock, returning expired meds, maintain accurate perpetual inventory
- Efficiency with insurance claims – verify complete patient information and manage adjudication review
- Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) as required by HIPAA law
- Fulfilling medication orders – data entry, counting and labeling prescriptions, receive payment, patient adherence outreach
- Bill Insurance Providers
- Assistance with local and long distance deliveries
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Working well with a team

Requirements:
- Must be licensed in Texas as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Must have 3 years pharmacy work experience in a RETAIL setting, third party billing included
- Minimum Education: High school or equivalent
