Drive thru/ Cashier

A cashier is responsible for processing transactions, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service in a retail or service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Processing: Cashiers handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in processing payments and issuing receipts. They must be proficient in using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems. 2
• Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is crucial. Cashiers greet customers, assist with inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints that may arise during the transaction process. 2
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of transactions is essential. Cashiers are responsible for balancing their cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts and documenting sales accurately. 2
