What are the responsibilities and job description for the GCBC Inventory Team Member (NFWS/ FWS) position at Grand Canyon University?
Purpose: Play a vital role in Grand Canyon Beverage Company’s mission on campus by working as a Grand Canyon Beverage Company Inventory Team member.
Please note: this position is NOT a traditional barista position in our shops. Please do not apply if you are wanting a barista position.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
Ensures that actions promote appropriate GCBC and GCU culture, values and mission.
Anticipates shop needs and acts accordingly to ensure shop needs are continually met
Communicates all necessary information to Managers.
Constantly contributes to a positive team environment.
Follows operational policies and procedures given
Helps to maintain an organized count for all inventoried items in an effort to keep shops fully stocked.
Provides shop support by receiving and putting away all vendor orders.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance
Qualifications:
Ability to stand, lift, and move around shop inventory
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds, as this is a very physically demanding job
Ability to push cart to transport inventory items in shops and organize
Ability to drive company inventory truck
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license
Must be able to work flexible hours, including but not limited to, early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays – up to 20 hours a week
Always available to perform inventory runs in a timely manner each day
Ability to learn and problem solve quickly, while staying organized and efficient
Ability to understand and carry out any instruction and ask for clarification if needed
Strong communication and team-working skills
Ability to work as part of a team and individually

Education:

Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
