What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Associate position at Grand Central Market?

At Grand Central Market, the Info Desk associate is the face and first impression of the Market. They are responsible for welcoming guests and providing a genuine, approachable, and hospitable experience. The associate strives for an outstanding level of service, going above and beyond to ensure every guest has a positive experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting guests with vendor recommendations, general venue information, merchandise sales, and GCM event inquiries
  • Recognizing and building relationships with VIP visitors and repeat GCM guests
  • Supporting GCM Management with projects such as merchandise inventory, events, and Info Desk set up & breakdown
We are looking for individuals with a retail and/or hospitality background. Experience using Shopify a plus. 

Salary : $20 - $25
