Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Grand Junction, CO. The City Editor will be responsible for overseeing the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality written content for various platforms. Daily responsibilities include managing writers and contributors, fact-checking, and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and consistency. The City Editor will also collaborate with other team members to align content strategies and maintain editorial calendars.

Qualifications
- Content creation and editing skills, including strong writing, proofreading, and editing abilities
- Experience in content strategy development and research
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage writers and contributors effectively
- Proficiency in communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of digital publishing tools and familiarity with social media platforms is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in editorial roles is highly advantageous
Pay: $12,000.00 - $20,000.00 per year
