What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Boys Basketball Coach - 7th Grade position at Grand Ledge School District?
Qualifications:
1. In-depth knowledge of fundamental skill development strategies.
2. Ability to demonstrate and instruct fundamentals of offensive and defensive basketball.
3. Experience in development and oversight of strength and conditioning program.
4. Prior coaching experience.
5. Experience in agency level support programs, including clinics and workshops.
6. Coach must possess strong professional/personal morals and ethics and be a positive role model for the student athletes.
Basic Function:
Provide leadership and direction for appropriate level of sport program listed. Be able to help coordinate school level programs
with other agency programs. Develop opportunities for athletes to be exposed to, acquire and demonstrate on demand speed and quickness techniques in their chosen sport. Provide leadership at appropriate coaching level. Work in conjunction with other
coaches and Athletic Director to develop and deliver a successful program.
