Charlie Palmer Lounge Server

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• The Food Server serves meals to guests in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
• Take food & beverage orders from restaurant customers.
• Input orders in to POS system.
• Deliver orders following required standards for the position.
• Prepare tableside items as requested by customer; anticipate guest's needs.
• Complete all side work including but not limited to: wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, etc.
• Polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, etc. in order to prepare tables and stations. Breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant.
• Explain menu to the guests. Always check on quality of food and service.
• Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
  
  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Food service experience in or related experience a plus.
• Knowledge of wine.
• Cocktail experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills using the English language required.
• AES card required.

May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
