We are seeking a responsible and experienced Bus Driver to join our team. As a vital member of our transportation department, the successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to their desired destinations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle a variety of passenger groups.
**Duties:**
- Safely operate a bus or other vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the bus or vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to passenger inquiries and addressing any concerns.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with passengers and colleagues.
- Monitor and maintain the safety and well-being of passengers during transportation.
- Handle emergency situations, such as accidents or medical emergencies, in a calm and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger information.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Educate passengers on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with other drivers to ensure seamless transportation services.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children during transportation.
- Drive in a safe and defensive manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the bus or vehicle.
- Handle commercial driving tasks, including transporting goods or equipment.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other team members.
- Provide multilingual support to passengers who speak different languages.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of behavior management principles to maintain a positive and respectful environment on board.
