Day In the Life of a Payroll Specialist
Do you enjoy process-driven tasks? Do you thrive in a supportive role? Does reporting, reconciling, and auditing data fill your fulfillment bucket?
Perfect! Our team could flourish with you joining Granger.
We would count on you to support our team with:
- Payroll administration. Working with our Payroll Manager, you will support weekly payroll-processing for 450 teammates, both union and non-union.
- Attention to detail. Perform all monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll tax reporting compliance and submission.
- You will manage the company's certified payroll auditing and prepare union fringe calculations for 15 unions.
- Timely task management. Collection of timesheets, documentation from subcontractors, and logging results into the compliance system.
- Report Guru. Managing and processing mileage and expense reports for 300 teammates.
- Outside the box thinking. Our culture supports continuous improvement to take action on improving process efficiencies.
- Brand ambassador. Granger has earned a positive reputation in the construction industry. Our teammates illustrate our values in each conversation and interaction: trust, honesty, fairness, integrity, compassion, and appreciation for the team contribution.
What Experience You Bring
- Payroll processing skills. Understanding the process and payroll laws. You've done this before, and it shows!
