What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Technician position at Granite Peak Fabrication?
Responsibilities:
- Unload/Receive job material and check against PO# and Job BOM
- Identify damaged products when received and inform freight carries and warehouse manager
- Notify warehouse manager when material is missing or incorrect, note discrepancies on vendor packing list before signing
- Transfer all packing slips on warehouse floor to Expediter every day
- Store and arrange material in such a fashion that it can be distributed to shop in short notice.
- Distribute material to Shop Foreman for projects when called upon.
- Keep the Warehouse in a clean orderly fashion.
- Ensure spool pallets have adequate flange protection when issued to the shop
- Help with shop duties such as cutting material, forklift operation and cleaning when all the above duties have been handled and are 100% complete.
- Willingness to be flexible with job duties.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experienced with ASME codes, practices and standards.
- 3-5 years’ Experience with fabricating Oil and Gas production equipment.
- Applicants must be Drug Free, a pre-employment drug test is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
