Responsibilities
- Develop initial relationships with employers; generate opportunities for job seekers through cold calling, canvasing, warm leads, etc.
- Provide hiring services, obtain job orders, and build a portfolio of business customers
- Market Center-based resources, services and job seekers to potential employers and make appropriate referrals
- Market job opportunities to job seekers by hosting on-site recruitment events and orientations, producing flyers, posting jobs, etc.
- Work closely with the Business Services Manager and Account Management team to develop strategic sales initiatives
- Generate open job orders weekly using call lists, conducting internet research, etc.
- Meet performance expectations and prepare results reports
- Attend industry networking events and expos and participate in industry associations to maximize exposure of branding and to promote portfolio of business services to potential clients
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on job seeker referral activities and outcomes using in-house software, MS Excel and other databases as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 year of experience in sales, business development, human resources, recruitment, B2B sales or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong networking ability highly desirable
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented and goal-driven
