We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team in a dynamic grocery store environment. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing transactions and maintaining store operations. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately, processing transactions swiftly and efficiently.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays, ensuring that merchandise is organized and accessible to customers.
• Conduct product demos to promote new items and enhance customer knowledge of products.
• Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide accurate change.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and address any customer concerns.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is a plus, along with basic retail math skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new products and services offered in the store.
