Position Summary
The Kitchen Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, glassware, pots & pans, and small kitchen equipment. The Kitchen Worker supports overall kitchen operations by ensuring a clean and safe environment, helping with minor maintenance tasks as assigned, and following all sanitation and safety guidelines.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and small kitchen equipment according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and correctly.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts, ensuring proper separation and handling.
- Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Clean food prep stations and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, counters, and sinks throughout the shift.
- Ensure that all caution and safety markers are displayed properly.
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
- Safely use all cleaning tools and chemicals.
- Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
- Stock clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
- Perform opening, closing, and scheduled cleaning duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude.
