Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds; supervises a group of inmates who assist in completing projects and renovations to maintain functionality and safety for inmates; maintaining records related to inventory and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Leadership: supervising inmates on a maintenance crew, contractors and service providers in the facility.
- Facility Inspections: conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs/issues and areas of improvement.
- Technical Oversight: providing technical guidance on building systems (e.g. HVAC, electrical, plumbing and security). Implementing repairs and maintenance needs.
- Budget and Inventory: contributing to budget development, monitoring expenses, and managing inventory of materials and equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: enforcing health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Report Maintenance: maintaining accurate records, tracking maintenance activities and reporting issues to management.
- Project Coordination: overseeing renovations, installations, and special projects while coordinating with internal staff and external vendors.
