Job Description :
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for miscellaneous and structural steel projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
- Develop options and recommend best value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials
- Source and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare bid proposals, including detailed scope of work, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Develop complete conceptual proposals to support business development and client maintenance
- Stay current with industry trends, materials pricing, and construction techniques to ensure accurate and up-to-date estimates.
- Assist in the development and improvement of estimating tools, processes, and best practices.
