Description
- Responsible for properly performing all services required in the hood and pit compartment of customer vehicles and directing activities in the bay area of a GMI.
- Direct vehicle into bay and place fender covers on vehicle
- Check and advise Manager on air filter, breather and PCV status or other items recommended
- Check and test brake fluid
- Check and fill if necessary, clutch fluid, battery electrolyte level, windshield washer fluid, automatic transmission fluid and power steering fluid
- Check and test anti-freeze
- Add / check motor oil
- Perform visual inspection of belts and hoses
- Record information on Service Order Ticket
- Double check own work for accuracy
Other duties
- Perform general center maintenance and cleaning; mopping, window washing, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from site, cleaning restrooms and other customer and employee areas
- Attend crew meetings as required
- Run errands as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned.
