Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Core Responsibilities:
- Perform expert patient triage, assessment, and treatment for diverse populations and acuity levels
- Deliver evidence-based emergency nursing care while managing multiple high-acuity patients
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Coordinate patient care with physicians and hospital departments
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide comprehensive discharge instructions and coordinate follow-up care
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Emergency Department experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications within 90 days
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
