What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floaters Needed to Join Christian Preschool position at Great Beginnings Early Learning Center?
The Floater supports the Teachers, Aides, Assistant Director, and Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children as they work in collaboration with team members to meet and exceed developmental milestones. Flexibility, drive, energetic and welcoming educators are needed to transition between classrooms based on center needs.
Duties
* Implement Lesson Plans
* Support Team Members
* Update BrightWheel with child-related activities
* Serve Meals and Clean Up after feeding children.
* Work closely with assistants, teachers, the Assistant Director, and the Director
The Floater documents children’s progress and relays that information back to parents and staff through the use of BrightWheel and face-to-face engagements. Floaters may serve and clean up after meals, and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upholding State Licensing Standards and Center policies is essential. Floaters will support assistants and teachers the implementation of the A Beka Book Christian Curriculum and supplemental lessons designed to enhance the children's holistic development. This position requires creativity, and an ability to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma. Associate degree in a child-related field, CDA, or Higher desired.
- Full-time, Part-time, and flexible schedules available.
