We're seeking a Financial Analyst who thrives in a high-growth environment and wants to play a key role in our expansion strategy. Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role balances financial planning & analysis responsibilities with essential accounting operations support. This position is ideal for a professional with 2–4 years of experience who wants to develop expertise in both strategic financial analysis and core accounting functions while supporting our rapid growth and M&A activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations Support
- Lead month-end close processes and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support audit/tax preparation
- Streamline financial processes and improve reporting tools as the company scales
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Conduct monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis with explanations to leadership
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Develop financial models for business planning and scenario analysis
- Create executive dashboards and KPI reporting for key business metrics
Business Analytics & Insights
- Analyze sales trends, customer metrics, and operational performance
- Prepare management reporting packages with actionable insights
- Support pricing analysis and margin improvement initiatives
M&A Support
- Assist with financial due diligence on acquisition targets
- Support deal analysis, valuation work, and integration planning
- Help maintain standardized financial reporting across portfolio companies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis preferred
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with ERP systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into business insights
