What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wagon Ride Driver position at Great Country Farms?
Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA is looking for wagon ride drivers to join our Fall Harvest Festival Team. We are located on 18780 Foggy Bottom Road in Bluemont VA. Our ideal candidate has experience driving tractors or large equipment and would feel comfortable pulling hay wagons with guests to our pumpkin patch and apple orchard after training on the route.

Responsibilities
- Check your wagon hitches, safety chains, and interiors before starting rides.
- Greet guests with a smile and helping hand to create 5 Star Experiences for our guests as the enter and exit the wagon rides.
- Use the recorded message system & play safety/welcome message each ride.
- Ask guests to sit down and check all spaces surrounding tractors before pulling away.
- On slower days, helping keep produce stands fresh and fully stocked and discard non-sellable produce in Compost bin, get produce from packing barn and help fill in drink cooler between rides.
- Follow Safety measure such as chocking the wheels of wagons and following the open and close safety checks for the tractors & wagons.
Qualifications
- Experience driving Tractors or large equipment
- Current Driver’s License
