trusted defense sector company in Chatsworth, CA excited to bring on a Stock
Room Clerk. Our Stock Room clerks work with multiple departments to move
materials/products to and from designated areas while recording inventory of
the materials/products.

Responsibilities
- Assist Shipping/Receiving with
(un)loading trucks.
- Report, process, and remove
materials using FIFO method.
- Move materials and items from
receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
- Mark materials with identifying
information using appropriate method
- Record amounts of
materials/items received or distributed via corresponding program.
- Assist in taking physical
inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company
standards by counting and weighing items for distribution.
- Maintain an organized warehouse
and work area at all times.
- Lifting, Pushing, Pulling 50
lbs. frequently.
- Work performed outdoors daily.
Requirements
- 1 yrs. experience in
warehouse/stockroom in manufacturing experience (or related).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
- Must be open to overtime.
- Forklift certification is a
plus.
Key Deliverables:
- Transfers orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting department
- Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting and labeling containers
- Assist in the continuous improvement of department by cross training and learning all aspects of Material Control
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Makes an effort for continuous improvement to work processes for production and/or quality control
Shift
- Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Pay Rate
$16.50-$18.00
