Title: Quality Technician
Pay: $23.25 - $25.70
Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Summary: The Quality Technician is part of the Quality Team responsible for quality assurance and quality control activities at Great Lakes Dental Technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will assist with the confirmation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues related to supplied items, internal errors, and external defects.
- Responsible for maintaining the timely calibration of all required production, inspection, and quality control equipment.
- Will support evaluation, testing, qualification and the validation of new and existing products and equipment.
- Will participate on internal audits of the Quality Management System to verify compliance to standards and regulatory requirements and identify gaps for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, engineering, and other departments.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates Degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Industrial Technology preferred.
- One year experience working in a QA and QC role.
Minimum Requirement for this Job:
- An understanding or willingness to learn the company’s Quality Management System.
- A familiarity with basic measuring equipment and calibration requirements.
- Ability to collect and analyze imperial data and evidence.
- Experience in the calibration of equipment used in production and quality control processes.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to review data, draw conclusions and make suggestions based on data.
