Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the nurse or supervisor
- Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Lift and transfer clients using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide childcare services if needed
Experience:
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and medication administration
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques and equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
