Forklift Operator - 2nd shift - Abilene, KS
The Land Pride Division has an opening for a Forklift Operator 2nd shift in the Welding Department at the Abilene Facility. This position is Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm -3:00 am (overtime on Friday as required)
Responsibilities:
- Providing safe movement of parts to required staging areas or locations
- Ensuring correct part identification and delivery to correct location is a must to maintain inventory accuracy
- Conducting preventative maintenance on all equipment used
- Other duties as assigned such as driving a truck and working with other departments
Qualifications:
- Must have forklift license or ability to obtain one
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understand team concepts and be a strong team player
- Excel in fast paced, high-pressure situations
- Ability to use and understand AS400
- Ability to read prints and be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc. as required
