Maintenance Helper - 1st shift - Salina, KS
Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Helper to join our team at the Salina Facility.
This position works Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime on Fridays, as required.
Responsibilities:
- Building maintenance & general grounds keeping
- Painting of equipment and building (inside & out)
- Assist in projects requiring fabricating and welding
- Monthly inspections of emergency lighting & equipment
- Stocking and delivering of supplies
- Ability to work in heights greater than 30 feet
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical background
- Welding experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- Self-motivated to work with minimal supervision
