School Lunch Aide (PT, 3hrs per day)

Greater Amsterdam School District (GASD) currently seeks a 10-month, Lunch Aides for McNulty Elementary School. GASD's believes that students of all ages can and should learn. Lunch Aides are assigned to oversee lunch periods and work typically a 3 hour work day Monday-Friday, 10:30am-1:30pm. Breakfast may be included in duties.

The Main Responsibility of Lunch Aides is to monitor students while they are in the cafeteria to ensure safety of all students.
This could be de-escalation of situations should they arise and could also include other duties as assigned by the building principal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Having fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, but not a requirement.
