Currently hiring a Service Associate to join our Intake Team.
Tasks may include:
- Scheduling & screening intakes according to insurance, provider availability, and provider specialty.
- Pulling & working spreadsheets related to patient accounts.
- Verifying insurance for new patients.
- Distribute & respond to messages received via patient portal.
- Collecting copays at the window or over the phone.
- Managing waitlists for various locations/ specialties.
- General administrative tasks like data entry, mailing letters, faxing/ scanning documents, etc.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year clerical/office work required
- Willingness to train and learn each day
- Strong customer service skills and excellent at working with a variety of clientele
- Comfortable answering phone calls live and talking to patients on the phone
- Ability to Multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Exercise good judgment
- Excellent computer skills with experience using Google Suite and electronic medical databases
- Must be a self-starter while also able to work as part of a team

- Willingness to participate in specialty trainings designed to support our LGBTQ program

- Requires weekly evening shift and monthly Saturday shift

Salary: Starting at $17. Offers commensurate with experience.
