REQUIREMENTS:
The qualified candidate must have knowledge of means and methods associated with the welding trade.Must have knowledge of or be trainable in proper safety measures.
Prior experience in the field of welding preferred.
DESCRIPTION: Typical duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists students and welding instructor during applied learning and other activities in lab.
- Promotes and maintains a safe environment as defined by district policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of welding procedures/processes preferred.
- Able to demonstrate aspects of the trade.
- Acts in a professional manner at all times and as an effective role model for students.
- Must satisfy all job related attendance requirements
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
LOCATION: Laurel Oaks Career Campus
HOURS: 8:30a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday
Approximately 27.5 paid hours per week
SALARY: $19.54 per hour (Medical/Dental Benefits – not included)
$20.59 per hour for ESEA qualified
START DATE: Immediately
