Summary:
The Director of Programming is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple departments to ensure the effective delivery of housing programs and services. This position will drive strategic initiatives, foster collaboration across teams, and ensure program alignment with the organization's mission to provide safe, affordable housing and supportive services.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership and Oversight
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of all current programs - which include GGNW’s shelter program, housing navigation & retention program, street outreach program, and kitchen program.
- Collaborate with program managers and the director team to ensure programs are effective, efficient, and meet community needs.
- Lead cross-departmental efforts to ensure program alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
Strategic Planning and Development
- Work with the Executive Director and leadership team to shape the strategic vision of the organization.
- Identify opportunities for program growth, partnerships, and innovations to address housing challenges.
- Develop and manage annual program goals, budgets, and key performance indicators.
Staff Leadership and Development
- Provide supervision and support to departmental managers, fostering professional growth and leadership.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and inclusivity across teams.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to align efforts and improve communication across departments.
Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including funders, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization at public events, forums, and meetings to advocate for housing equity.
- Collaborate with external partners to create new housing initiatives and resources for underserved populations.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as funder requirements.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of program data to monitor effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present program performance reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Qualifications:Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in program management, preferably in the housing or non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing diverse programs and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven track record in securing and managing grant funding and donor relationships.
- Experience working with underserved or marginalized communities.
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs, property management, and supportive services.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 per year
