What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Associate - PT - Recuperative Care position at Greater Portland Health?
Our Recuperative Care team is seeking a part time PA to join our highly collaborative and integrated team to support and increase our capacity to assess, educate, and empower our patients to live healthy lives. Our providers are essential to our success in carrying out our mission to provide high quality patient-centered healthcare. Our philosophy is grounded in trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles.
Shift: 1st shift, 20 hours/week

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Associate Program with a Maine State license to practice medicine and have a valid DEA number;
- At least two years’ experience as a Physician Associate strongly preferred.
- Board Certification by the American Academy of Physician Associates or American College of Physician Associates upon graduation.
- Be able to be credentialed at assigned hospitals and contractible on Greater Portland Health insurance plans.
- Must not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs.
