Job Description:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control, i.e. sizes of portions, methods of preparation, cooking, garnishing of foods, and sees that the food is prepared as ordered.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Shift Leader or Truck Leader.
- Complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Shift Leader or Truck Leader.
- Be able to meet at designated meeting area, participate in event service and clean the truck in preparation for the next shift.
- Prep of food items prior to food service.
- Prepare and cook our menu to order on the truck.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Educate customers about our menu items.
- Work various shifts including nights and weekends.
- Be able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions.
- Protect and maintain the assets of Greek’s.
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) preferred
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures required
- Ability to work in a team is required
- Very good communication skills
- Adequate physical condition and stamina to work varying length of shifts to include doubles as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of restaurant.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- May be required work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
