Join Our Team as a Sheeter Operator!
Position Overview: We're looking for a dedicated Sheeter Operator to set up and operate our Marquip Sheeter. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Set up each job (retrieve, feed, slit/trim rolls, etc.)
- Operate the machine at peak efficiency
- Follow job-specific work instructions and procedures
- Troubleshoot and adjust the machine as needed
- Ensure product meets specifications
- Maintain accurate inventory management
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Quality-conscious individual
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting ability
- Ability to operate clamp trucks, forklifts, and rider pallet jacks
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work 2nd shift (Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm), with some overtime/weekend work
- Training for this position could be on 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm), for up first 120 days of employment
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
