What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Dog Daycare Attendant position at Green Beagle Lodge?
This is not a seasonal position.
Green Beagle Lodge is looking for great personalities to join our team. We are a privately owned company with two locations that provide resort style daycare and boarding, as well as grooming and training services. We are a uniquely off-leash facility where everything we do is pack oriented!
Potential candidates must display not only a passion for animals but a solid work ethic and the confidence to keep our guests safe. If hired, you will first go through an orientation class and hands-on training to learn more about dog behavior and handling.
We believe in building strong teams and developing the right company culture to provide a clean, safe, and ultimately fun environment for pets and staff!
This position is with our Daycare Enrichment Team, Monday-Thursday, 10 hours shifts. It is a position that will work outside in all types of weather; hot, cold, rain, etc.
Main job responsibilities & expectations include:
- Daily care and cleaning for all guests, including feeding & wellness monitoring
- Overseeing enrichment activities that focuses on social, physical, cognitive and sensory enhancement for the dogs under our care.
- Overseeing playgroups of dogs (we maintain a 10 dogs per staff member ratio, which you won't count towards until training is completed!)
- Communication about behavioral and health concerns with clients about their dog
