OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Workday Team, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst will support the People and Human Capital teams in their Workday configuration, maintenance, and reporting needs. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring Green Dot is able to deploy efficient, user-friendly, and actionable business solutions. This is an opportunity to own processes across all functional areas in HCM.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and work in conjunction with the Workday team to configure, maintain, and optimize the following areas :
- Absence Management
- Benefits
- Compensation
- Payroll
- Recruiting
- Talent
- Time Tracking
- Business Process
- Dashboards, Reporting and Analytics
- Integrations
- Security
Support and work in conjunction with the Workday team to roll out new or enhanced functionality on the Green Dot roadmap
Continuously seek to improve efficiencies and collaborate with subject matter experts on a regular basis
Seek opportunities to innovate and optimize Workday HCM while gaining knowledge in new technologies
Actively perform research behind possible solutions that meet complex organizational (and union) requirements
Possess a solid understanding of downstream impacts particularly in workflow and integrations
Create, design, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards
Manage ticketed requests from all end users via the Deskpro system on a daily basis
Support and coordinate semi-annual release testing and configuration
Create and maintain a library of job aids and codify configuration and trouble-shooting procedures
Other Workday-related tasks, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
As an ideal candidate, you :
have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or other field that is directly applicable to the position (preferred)
have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Workday HCM and Reporting (required)
have an understanding of Workday HCM setup
have an understanding of Workday configurable security (preferred)
possess an excellent, high-level working knowledge of Excel (required)
have experience in the education sector (a plus) are familiar with union requirements (a plus)
are familiar with SQL (a plus)
have experience working with and maintaining confidentiality of employee information
possess strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
are able to prioritize work and demonstrate strong organizational skills while managing multiple projects
are driven and results-oriented using creative solutions
have a commitment to ethical behavior at all levels of the organization
are customer service oriented
possess a strong commitment to Green Dot's mission and the communities we serve

COMPENSATION
The starting salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000. Please note that candidates who are new to their role or newly promoted can expect offers between the minimum and the mid-point of the range. To allow for salary progression over time, offers at the top of the range are rare. Individual education and experience will be considered when issuing offers.
